The prime location on Tulum Beach makes this resort an ideal choice. We opted for the Royal Cabin, situated right on the beachfront, providing an unparalleled view for those looking to maximize their beach time. The convenience of being steps away from the shore eliminates the need to lug your belongings to the beach. Additionally, there's a beachfront massage facility available.
However, our experience was marred by some drawbacks. Two weeks before our arrival, attempts to secure assistance for booking a ride from Cancun Airport (it's a 2 hours drive) went unanswered, receiving only automated responses from the chatbot, despite multiple attempts via WhatsApp. Upon arrival, despite notifying the hotel of our late check-in, we received no response. The security personnel assisted with check-in, though they were unsure of our assigned room, initially guiding us to the wrong one.
Pros:
- proximity to everything
- you're right on the beach
- very clean
- you don't get an ordinary hotel room
- There are two grocery stores 2 min away from the resort (1. check 30 meters after the main entrance, on the main street, and 2. on the street across the main entrance, behind the Funky Geisha restaurant).
Cons:
- Breakfast options - very poor, we weren't provided with a menu, it was just verbally told to us
- consider the noise and humidity from the sea (we knew about the noise and were ok with it, but humidity related we didn't expect it to be that high, our clothes were wet al t
