⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 – Exceptional Stay! I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The check-in process was smooth and efficient. My room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect — close to local attractions, restaurants, and public transport. I also appreciated the delicious breakfast buffet each morning, which offered plenty of fresh and tasty options. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for great service, comfort, and value. I’ll definitely stay here again on my next visit!

We had an ocean front VIP room on the 2nd floor. We have traveled many resorts. The reviews rave about the beach, food and employees. We agree 100%. My husband rarely voices a strong opinion, but shares we will definitely be back. From the arrival, VIP check in, to our concierge, Marcelo Lagunes. (No suprise he won an employee award when we were there). Worth every penny we spent for this trip. I recommend going if you want an amazing time. Drink service was always available at the pool and beach. All ages at the resort. Everyone very respectful, having a great time. Will definitely play the mini golf next time. The emplotees were great at making people feel welcome to.play beach volleyball, go on the kayaks. (With no pressure) Pool games section, without disturbthe relaxing areas. I can hardly wait to book again.

Room cleaned late everyday but every single person was nice. The hibachi restaurant opened late, left us outside with the mosquitoes, and gave a tablespoon of rice and vegetables. Needed access to golf carts and the Boudreaux food was very subpar but staff was nice.

Secrets Maroma was excellent!! great staff no complaints resort food cleanliness top notch Only one thing the road into the resort is bombed out you never get a second chance at first impressions.... Secrets you might wanna fix that road in buy a grader and backfil that road.

First the bad and this is why we will never return to this resort. This resort could have been literally in the middle of the desert and it wouldn’t have made any difference. It is a stamped out Hyatt(which I didn’t know before I got there) There was no local culture or theme in the rooms. The only culture was the buffet where they have some Mexican dishes. This resort was advertised as all-inclusive, 5 star resort, HA! No way! No alcohol in the rooms, ok a couple of mini-beers and a bunch of soda. You could get top shelf at the outside bars. The beef at all restaurants was so tough that I stopped ordering it and sent it all back, prime rib was tasteless and tough, rib eye had gristle and no taste. When I brought it up to management and suggested they get a better cut of meat, the response was “ we’ll have them soak it in pineapple juice longer” not hey, for $700+/day, you’re right, we can do better. Anyway the whole, all inclusive was very disappointing and did not meet the standard of other 5 star all inclusive I have been to. Swim up bar was nice although some of the underwater barstools are showing signs of rusting and staining the pool. Room and room staff was amazing. Turn down service and cleaning was top notch. Spa was WAAAAAY overpriced, $250USD/hr for a massage? That said the amenities were very nice. Hydrotherapy, sauna, and steam room were all very nice as were the lay out and staff

Huge thanks to all team staff for their friendliest from arriving to leaving and for going above and beyond. They all made my stay extra special and always being helpful and providing fantastic service in all aspects. Rooms were nice and clean. Unfortunately I was very disappointed with the breakfast food and even had to skip it until the dinner option dining would open. My biggest recommendation is don’t eat their mushrooms as it might make you feel sick overtime.
