We stayed at OMR for a week in January and it was absolutely fantastic! The food was delicious and fresh, the beaches were clean, the drinks were professionally crafted, and the entertainment was top-notch (their acrobats were amazing!). Each day and night there was something new to keep us truly entertained. Above all, the staff stood out with their uplifting energy and kindness. Special shoutout goes to Carlos for being so attentive and bringing life to the party, as well as Alex and Viridiana for their amazing energy. Lastly, their singer Paula is extremely talented and if you get a chance to listen to her, it will be one of the highlights of your stay. While this hotel is great, it was by no means perfect and there were some hitches in the road, but the staff worked promptly to make our stay as memorable as possible.

I loved everything about this property. The restaurants and buffet were fantastic. The buffet has a different theme every night so the food is always different. The entertainment team is fantastic! There is always fun activities to do. We took a towel folding class, a tye dye class, pool fitness class and a language class. The foam party was phenomenal.Rooms and grounds are so nice and clean. Very nice adults only resort. The landscaping is beautiful and the accommodation clean and quiet. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I could live without the music by the pool but that's just me. I loved the animals, trees and flowers on the property. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed staying.

We just got back from our trip Jan 21, 2025. We were very impressed with OMR. You cannot beat the price for what you get. There are many really great things that stand out at this Hotel, let me go over quickly. Its a really safe property. There is security at the main gate and nobody just wanders on the premises. We drove our own car and im glad we did! Parking was free and wow, parking about 30 yards away. Bellhops and staff were always helpful-be kind and tip. Just a few bucks here and there go a long way. The staff really does a good job. Check in process a breeze, we did not do the upgraded Privilege plan. The grounds are really pretty. The Landscape is beautifully maintained. The Hotel itself is in nice shape. not perfect but there is always some kind of repairs going on. The rooms are clean and a good size. The layout of the place is nice. The restaurants are really good. The buffet is above average with no wait at all. The other specialty places such as Italian, Mexican food were absolutely delicious. Get reservations for the Japanese one. The bars are enough to satisfy. The drinks are mid grade? Grey goose, bacardi, Dos XX, Corona, Tecate etc. The choices are just perfect for me and the Mrs. The drinks are great, even a little strong at times. A 10$ tip the first day and you will not be forgotten. The beach and pool area are awesome. Very nice and clean with a swim up bar, soo cool! The beach is super nice and accessible. WE WILL BE BACK FOR SURE

Not a 5-Star Hotel – Disappointing Experience I stayed at this hotel expecting a true 5-star, all-inclusive experience, but it was anything but that. If I had read an honest review like this one beforehand, I would have never wasted my money here. While some guests seem to be enjoying their stay—likely because their standards are lower—this is not a luxury property. At best, this is a 2- to 3-star hotel. Here are the major issues I experienced: 1. Outdated Facilities: The property feels old and outdated, with no modern touches or luxury features you’d expect from a 5-star hotel. 2. Terrible Food: The food is absolutely subpar. Many dishes seem to be reused and moved from the buffet to the “special” restaurants, which were supposed to be better. There’s no freshness or quality at all. 3. Water Bottle Limitations: This was shocking. Water bottles are limited to two per day per room, even if you ask for more. It’s absurd that you can have unlimited alcohol but not enough water. The tap water tastes terrible, like melted ice, and is not a suitable replacement. 4. Service Issues: The service was disappointing, and it was surprising how few staff members spoke English, making even basic communication difficult. 5. the beach has only has two entry points one near Italian restaurant is extremely small and it was covered in sea weed even it is a side for a privilege members. another site was OK.
