Excellent vacation spot with great beach, service, and food. If I’m being picky the only -1 is the bed needs updating. Otherwise it’s a fantastic property!

Room was noisy, hard to sleep until midnight. Food was was average, not much taste. Small things like salt/pepper, no maple syrup. Deserts taste like whip cream, not much flavor there either. Nothing to do when it did rain. Pool tables, darts or something like that would help. Entertainment in evening was limited. Place was very clean, staff was nice and very helpful. I might return but there are a lot of other places to choose from for the same money. We stayed 10 days.

We had not stayed at a Rui resort before this stay. I did read reviews that stated this was a low-end resort and after staying at this resort, I would agree. You get what you pay for like they say. Staff was nice though! But there should have been someone to walk you to your room and go over a few things to alleviate calls to the front desk. Also, if you are considering staying at this resort and have someone that is prone to falls for one reason or another, I would reconsider this resort (unless them have rooms designed for the handicapped) Food was subpar but typical for a low-end all-inclusive resort.

I went on my first vacation since my husband passed away. When we got to the property we mentioned that I am by myself so we’d like to be near the other people in my party. They said just get settled in and we’ll see if you need to move. I didn’t want to move after that so I stayed the room smelled musty and I found out why on the day it rained. There was rain leaking in the hallway and then all of a sudden at 8 o’clock at night rain started coming into my room. They said it was the air conditioner. The air conditioner had been running for hours and none of that happened. I had to go back to the desk, three different times one day to get my key because it kept failing when I went to open the door. As a single woman, this was very concerning to me so wanted to happen again the next day I complained and said I didn’t like that this was happening. The person at the front desk blamed me. Said I was keeping it in the wrong place in my purse. I explained that everyone else in my party was keeping their key in the same area and not having a problem. Also a minor issue was there weren’t a lot of television stations that were in English I asked for them to reprogram the TV. They never came so I fixed it. When I went to my new room after I had rain in my room, I got to a really nice room though so I guess if you know somebody maybe you’ll get into a good room. It didn’t even smell like mold or mildew so I know they do have a couple nice rooms out there.

I like resort itself overall, it green and clean. All hard working and friendly stuff, the only one thing in buffet we were a little bit disappointed .in buffet usually stuff making fresh juices in the morning. In this resort they were taste like a water, not sweet and no taste of what ever juice your drink. Beech is beautiful, again Thank you hard working staff, they work hard.

Not quite right but OK.

The place is great. Rooms are nice and clean. The employees are really nice, helpful and happy. The beach is also beautiful and clean. The pools are starting to show some age but are clean and refreshing. The buffet is large, and food options are wide. Even with the wide selection the food flavors are bland. Not sure what is missing but it's not quite right. The drink selection is wide and they do offer some name brand alcohol. To me the beer was undrinkable. Not sure if it's the beer brand or the draft lines have never been cleaned. The mix drinks are not much better. I think the mixers, soda and juices are loaded with artificial sweeteners that don't taste quite right. I almost feel like they do this on purpose, so you don't over drink. The food and drink defiantly drag your energy from you. I know this because we went out to the town for the day for food and drinks and felt 100% better. Like we were rejuvenated with real food and drinks.

What was supposed to be an amazing trip was sadly affected by food poisoning and other unfortunate events. I have been to Mexico, specifically the Playa del Carmen area many times but this was the worst by far. This was supposed to be a very happy and romantic trip as my fiancé had just proposed however on the third day we got terrible food poisoning. This was extremely upsetting as I had spent hours reviewing what I thought was an excellent hotel that was well maintained. From here things only got worse for us. Our room lock was not working and would always flash red when we tried to enter our room. Despite multiple attempts to change key cards and asking for help, no one did anything to fix our situation. Pair this with an upset stomach and needing to get into your room in a hurry and you truly have a nightmare. Not to mention, my finance and I were both so sick and unable to get our own water, we kindly asked staff to bring us some and they refused. My fiancé then attempted to make his way to the front desk to get us water but puked the entire way and had to turn back. We are very upset with our experience and the lack of care from the some of the staff. With that being said, Daniel from the front desk was awesome when we had the privilege of being assisted by him.
