Great adult only resort that’s not too big, but has excellent food choices The staff was excellent and it’s an easy walk to 5th Avenue and the core of Playa del Carmen I got excellent value for the cost paid, but acknowledge that July is off season.

From the pool to the concierge to the bar and restaurants, the staff was wonderful. The resort ambience was very cute and almost storybook like with a “river” running through the middle. Beautifully kept grounds and the constant sound of running water just made for a very peaceful experience.

We had a fantastic and relaxing time at the Royal Hideaway. The property is beautiful and vintage in its decor and we absolutely loved that. The rooms were nice and comfortable. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Only recommendation is a bit more entertainment in the evening. Cannot wait to go back next year!

We enjoyed our stay. It is a smaller resort located on a great beach. The food was better than most all inclusives. The staff is all helpful and kind. As other reviewers have said the air conditioning struggles to keep up. We got a portable fan that helped. All in all, we would stay again.

Reception and staff were welcoming and kind. Service was great. Only thing that this resort could do better is improve the variety of beverages available at the restaurants and for room service. Breakfast menu was full of great smoothie options but not for the other meals throughout the day.
