Thank you in particular for highlighting your enjoyment of staying with us. We would like our guests to have a comfortable and safe experience throughout their time here at The Capsule Hotel, our bar is ban from playing loud music past midnight. Unfortunately, due to the location of our hotel which it is located in central CBD therefore we only have limited control of surrounding venues. Your recommendation and satisfaction are valuable to us. We hope to welcome you back to the hotel soon! Warm regards, The Capsule Hotel Team

couldn’t get TV to work at all even after asking reception. There wasn’t a fire extinguisher in my room and the mattress was approximately 12cm memory foam, I was sleeping on the bottom of the capsule. Disappointing where you can’t experience the whole it should have to offer.

Much too noisy if you are requiring sleep with constant distractions as people climb into their capsules. Saturday night particulaty noisy with outside music. Can hear every conversation, people walking around capsule and getting things from locker. Shared kitchen and bathroom good condition and clean. Cannot lock personal capsule due to fire and safety issues. Overall I would not recommend.

People wanting to stay here need to be better informed upfront that the hotel is a poker machine venue. The two “lounges” on different floors are full of pokies and people smoking. I tried to have a drink at one of the lounges and was not allowed to move the chair away from the poker machine and there were no ofher chairs. Reception staff extremely unpleasant and rude when there was a problem with my credit card. Capsule itself is fine but this place has poor customer service, a gross pokie venue vibe, and is basically a backpackers hostel. Will not stay again.

Dear guest Thank you for taking the time to share your review following your stay with us. As the issuse we had with you for your credit card, you should be aware that upon making this booking, we made it clrear that we will be doing a $1 pre authorisation on every one of our guest and we have got no problems with this since grand opening. Please ensure that you read our T&Cs carefully before you make a booking with us. Once again, we thank you for your time providing your feedback.

Much more privacy than your typical hostel. Top capsule was a little awkward to climb into so definitely request a bottom capsule if you have any kind of mobility issues. The bathrooms were nicer than I expected and I found the capsule to be comfortable and cosy.

They need to put up hooks so people can hang towels! Other than that very good, as described. A good step up from a bunk room in a hostel.

Good value

Being new to the capsule experience, I felt there wasn’t a lot of explanation of the procedure. Lockers are provided to store your belongings, change in bathrooms - the capsule is only for when you’re ready to retire for the night. Towels can be rented for $3 - are not provided in room cost. Bathrooms are basic hostel type - I had trouble finding spots to place my gear so it wouldn’t get wet. If you’re used to Caravan parks, camping and hostels, you’ll be ok.
