Appreciated the upgrade to our room that had 2 toilets as we needed them when myself and my husband became ill immediately after eating breakfast at the buffet and required the use of a toilet at the same time. Very noisy with children running up and down the corridors outside the rooms and knocking on the door. One night there was also a party going on in the room next door, with multiple male guests and inappropriate language and behaviours that could be heard from the balcony (sounded like a bucks party). I don’t think I’d spend the money again on what should have a luxurious treat for myself and my children. I did not inform reception of the party going on (due to concerns about possible negative repercussions) but I should have.

We are return guests from interstate who love the location of this hotel and the undercover, on-site parking. The rooms are quiet and spacious. The beds and pillows are really comfortable. Being so close to Darling Harbour, the ferries and light-rail makes this hotel a great choice.

Make sure you take your license hard copy as the digital system was down my sister , that I hadn’t seen for a year only had her digital license on her phone. my self spending a lot of money within the casino she had to sit and watch they need a new system it was a waste of accomodation and time

I’d avoid staying at The Star. I stayed in the 2 bedroom balcony suite. Upon arrival after a lengthy day on business, I was disappointed to find the mini-bar completely empty. The room service menu is dismal at best. When I raised my concerns with the staff, they simply giggled and said “oh I know”. Clearly the company don’t even care about the company. I’d advise others to stay elsewhere.
