Lots of history here. Lovely old hotel! With an old building come problems...like lack of outlets at the head of the bed, which in this age of needing to charge devices is a problem. And breathing machines! I use my phone for a clock at night and have it on the bedside table, but plugged in, which I could not do. Also, I am a tea drinker and couldn't find tea bags and a way to make hot water there in the room, though there was a coffee maker. These are small things, just minor annoyances in an overall lovely place.

The facility is lively. The room was a bit discouraging in design and even with the thermostat tirned way down, the air in the room was dry and stuffy. I woke up with a bad si us headache and my friend had a minor ose bleed.

Front desk staff was kind and helpful. Maids enjoyed knocking on the door early in the morning and waking everyone up. Room was clean and spacious and comfortable.

Attended a party at th Wiggins Tavern, part of the property and spent the night at the Hotel afterwards. Food at the restaurant was quite good, and the place is clean and a very good value for the money. Probably best place in the Pioneer Valley.
