First off we would stay here again if we wanted to visit the area! It's under 30 mins to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The Host was very responsive via messaging always on top of things. She was very understanding with our concerns and comments. When you get to the property there is an abandoned house next door, so really no neighbors that are noticeable ! The street it's on is 45mph you need to cross to get to the river. Grass could of used a cut and full of white Dutch clovers i believe, so many bees in the grass. First thing we noticed was the kitchen stove top didn't look cleaned and the top of the fridge was not cleaned who knows how long. There was also a full bathroom garbage bag left in the cabinet under the sink. Cob webs through out, kitchen light, the Queen bedroom's upstairs where we stayed, ceiling fans were not dusted for awhile. The bedroom doors upstairs where damaged but still useable, one of the door knobs was almost falling off (we screwed it back in) and a tile at the bottom of the stairs was broken and pieces left laying there. The space was perfect for our 7 adults and 4 kids. Wi-Fi works about 50% of the time, I believe it's satellite so that explains why considering it's in the mountains! We made the host aware of everything we noticed and hope they find a better housekeeping company cause that could really hurt their business! Everything worked as expected, AC was great and kept the whole place comfortable, it has a beautiful fireplace that we didn't use cause it's summer LOL. We didn't see enough towels for 11 guest and enough TP. It does have a washer and dryer to use. The upstairs is a narrow staircase. A great place to sit outside on the porch and listen to the river! Overall a relaxing place, game room kept adults and kids entertained, common area was enough space for everyone. The price was perfect and the host was great with communication!
