I was very pleased with this property. I will definitely stay there again and also recommend it to all my friends. The price was very reasonable and the room was spacious and beautiful with luxury feel to it. The food in the restaurant was great. I really enjoyed my stay at Millennium Queenstown. Class and comfort. 5 stars.

A Couple of nights in Queenstown

Everything was excellent except the parking, room was clean and tidy, staff were friendly and helpful. After discussion with staff they remedied the parking issue as we were traveling with a person that has mobility issues and parking 400m away from the hotel was not idea with a wheelchair to manage. they provided a disabled pard for us and this was greatly appreciated and made our stay a lot easier to manage.

Two problems. First was we were looking for the bus stop foe our Milford Sound tour and the front desk was totally clueless as to where the stop was even though it was specifically for guests of this hotel. They should have known. Second we were placed in a room next to a room where there was ongoing construction. We arrived just after check-in time of 3 pm hoping to get a little rest after a long drive but instead the sound of drills and hammers serenaded us for the next two hours. Given what we paid for this hotel we were disappointed

This place was so so. What I liked: convenient, short walk to city center. I disliked the room in that the ac didn't work and the windows didn't open. I reported the ac issue to staff but it was not resolved. Room was hot and stuffy. I wasn't in the room much due to activities and early checkout but would have appreciated some cool air. Expensive Rate for what was provided. Lots of tour bus groups. I probably would not stay here again or would insist on changing rooms.

The hotel is clean; The cleaning staff did a great job! Location is good too! Right next to the lake and 5 mins walk to town centre. But service is rather average. I cannot even get the staff to turn the queen bed into two single beds with bed sheets, minding you that the queen bed is actually made of two single beds. I also tried to get the restaurant to heat up so leftover food. The staff member is rude and said things against OH&S. BS! We were planning to have dinner there but because this bad service, we decided to move away from this restaurant. Also, the internet sucks!! 2.98Mpbs per second!!! And it kept on dropping out. This is a joke!

We really liked the refurbished superior room we stayed in - the bathroom was really nice, the bed was very comfortable and the room was furnished in a modern classic style. The television was a good size and the room looked out at a pretty courtyard garden. The downsides of the hotel would be the exterior and some of the communal areas are looking a bit dated and tired. Also, even though Queenstown’s retail area is definitely a walkable distance, there is quite a steep hill to contend with on your return.
