I went back and forth a lot of where me and my mother should stay in Playa del Carmen! I heard great reviews about the location and staff and this resort did not disappoint!!! We were greeted with welcome drink and received an amazing upgraded which we decided to upgrade even further and received what was definitely the best view at the resort! Food was great for an all inclusive and the location is perfect to explore play del Carmen. They do have a beach but it’s small and you can’t really swim in the water but you can definitely dip in. If you on the fence about booking because of the beach just know that their are plenty of public beaches around!

The staff welcomed me with an ice cold drink in a glass flute. Concierge was very nice and helped me check in and book a massage. My massage was with Julia and she had great pressure. I was solo traveling for a few days and I felt very safe and secure at all times. If you wanted to explore, it was a quick 3-5min walk to the main touristy streets. The onsite restaurants are great and the service at the pool was attentive.

Property: absolutely gorgeous, love the feel of the resort and the pool Staff: incredibly attentive and helpful, the power went out during our stay and they immediately found us a room with power and upgraded us for free Food: pretty decent resort food! But if you want to, there are several other restaurants within walking distance Beach: Rocky! So rocky and painful to walk on!!!!!! This hotel was decent overall. The food was fantastic and the spa was a real highlight, giving us some much needed relaxation. That said, the property itself feels tired and definitely needs a facelift. The real standout, though, was the location just steps away from Playa Del Carmen’s buzzing nightlife. Being able to stroll right into the heart of the party scene and dance in the streets was unforgettable.

I have been to all inclusive resorts in St. Lucia and Punta. We came to Playa Del Carmen with my first opportunity to walk off a resort and go into town. These were MY opinions. PROS: This was a smaller resort. There was no grand entry or big stage entertainment but we were pleasantly surprised by less chaos and there was still entertainment. Lounge chairs were always available for the pool areas. The room and building were clean, up-to-date and impressive. Our room was an oceanfront with a hammock which was relaxing. We loved the food in the buffet as we felt it was more authentic than other resorts we had been too. The steakhouse was our second favorite. We walked 5th Avenue a couple nights and also walked to the ferry to snorkel in Cozumel. I suggest doing it on your own and not through an excursion on the resort. We did both and while Cozumel was sketchy at first as we picked the first counter off the ferry, it was cheaper, authentic and they took pictures for $60 vs. $120. Plus the snorkeling is the best in Cozumel. CONS: Did not like the Mexican restaurant. ALL drinks are made out of a drink mix which was so disappointing given the abundance of fruit available. My favorite drink is a pina colada and I was so disappointed to not have fresh pineapple juice and coconut cream mixes. My husband likes strawberry mojitos which only had strawberry syrup--no fresh strawberries. Summer seems to be sea weed season. Pool beds need to be rented.

Great hotel . Exactly what we wanted . It doesn’t have the best beach , so if you’re looking for a nice beach this is not the place . Food was good , you get what you pay for , so don’t be picky . The cleanliness was absolutely impressive. Staff were nice , helpful and approachable. I would stay here again

The resort is beautiful and in a great location (walking distance to downtown/ clubs) everyone is very attentive and ready to help you at all times. the waiters that bring you drinks by the pool are top tier 10/10. Katia & David are the absolute best!! So welcoming and fun!
