If you’re planning on coming here in the next few months I would strongly reconsider. The resort is currently under construction so more than half of it is shut down and if you’re ok with that and want to relax then you’ll be greeted with the nonstop sound of angle grinders and the thumping of hammers. The beach is a post apocalyptic mess with yellow caution tape, debris, sand bags, washed tree branches and an ungodly amount of seaweed. The rooms smell like mold and the AC works when it chooses to. Overall my one week stay was almost nice thanks to 2-3 amazing employees that truly went above and beyond. If you’re into bad beaches, cold swimming pools, 7am-7pm construction noise, smelly rooms and lack of things to do at a resort then you’ll love this place.

Upon arrival, we had two people walk into our room without knocking. We did check in just a little bit early, but we figured it would be communicated. A few days later, they came to drop towels off and we didn’t hear the door knocking and they proceeded to also walk in. Other than those experiences, the room was great. It was very modern and spacious. The bathroom door doesn’t finish all the way to the ceiling and close all the way. It did not feel private at all. The pool areas also don’t have a Jacuzzi, which was a negative since the days weren’t too hot and the pool water was very cold. The entertainment of the evening was great every night. The food at the restaurants was just OK. We preferred the buffet since there was more option. The other thing we don’t like is the pressure of trying to buy whatever program they’re trying to sell. The other thing to note would be that our original reservation was at the other hotel which would’ve had our room facing south and would’ve made our pool area maybe a little bit warmer.

Staff were moderately friendly. There was no hotel shuttle available, which is a common service for many resorts. ATM was out of service. We were told the restaurants were fully booked but they could “add a table” if we purchased a bottle of champagne or a lobster for the dinner. The pool bar was way understaffed with only one bar tender.
