Night staff was great . Easy check in , and accommodating to needs . Only bad thing, is even with the extra curtains , natural light still brightens room starting @ 745a-8a which is truly BAD if u plan on SLEEPING in your room in the morning hours . Worst sleep ever , other than renting a room next to a TRAIN . Not doing that again -

Loved everything about the Hampton Inn & Suites in Petaluma, CA, especially the building itself and the rooms. They removated an old, brick silk mill in downtown Petaluma and changed it into a beautiful hotel. It has an industrial, modern vibe, and the room decor and hitel layout are all well-appointed. Highly recommend if you are searching for cool yet reasonably priced accommodations in Sonoma County, CA.

The hotel is nice and comfortable. Clean and quiet. Only complaint is that the rooms are small and oddly situated. The tv is placed in an odd spot so you can’t watch tv as easily.

We asked if it was possible for a slightly early check in and were not notified at all if a room was ready early. The pillows were very flat and it took a while for them to bring us any. We had to ask for more after we finally got some because they were extremely flat. The bed was very hard. They advised complimentary breakfast but the breakfast station was bare and there was not much available. The serving utensils were also dirty. We ended up having to go find breakfast somewhere else. I will note there was two hours left in the breakfast service and we were not late to breakfast.

An absolutely gorgeous hotel. Quite a surprise and unexpected. Spotless and a beautiful hotel that was originally an 1890 silk plant, and later a twine plant. One can see the original brick building That was totally gutted and renovated beautifully, and now sports an industrial modern feel throught out the building, including small but beautifully appointed super high 12 ft ceiling rooms.
