Powell trip

It was old and in need of a fresh up. Drawers were falling apart, the door didn't fit in the frame so light from the hall shone in at night. Curtains had holes. The bed was wonderful, breakfast was good, the staff was nice and the bar was good too.

They had people on zoom callls for the front desk they were working from home, it was inconvenient because the workers did not know where anything was because they were not really there. The real staff were rarely at the front desk and were an hour late to open certain amenities

It had a slider outside room it made it easy to unload car but slider was hard to open. The hotel needs updating the restaurant hours were late and there is no room service like on description. They use kiosk to check in there is no one at front desk.

Misleading online reservations cost a lot

Hotels.com changes the dates online without notice to the user. It accidentally reserved for July when I was actually making reservation for April. When asked to cancel the July reservation, they refused saying it was non-refundable. I hold Hotels.com responsible for such misleading tactics in online reservations. You don't get human service. You talk to someone on a screen. The machine wasn't working and the guy had to eventually call a human from the shadows. It's very dated and the sheer curtains they replaced, didn't even go to the floor. They were from walmart. The grounds were unkempt and the dog rooms have smelly carpet, not hard floors. My room had no remote and the ice machine was broken. It was a joke but now I know Quality Inn's are out for me and mine.

It was clean, but brown carpet in bedroom and part of the bathroom it is not appealing. Also brown bedspread could hide anything. I prefer to pay a little more and go to the next level.

Worst.Hotel.Ever.

This was the absolute worst hotel I’ve ever been in. The blinds in the room were dirty and shredded. There was an actual roach in the hallway. The mattresses are probably original to the hotel. We left after checking in and seeing the room and immediately booked a nicer room for less money at a different hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel was not accommodating and refused to refund our money. The pictures on their website see complete misleading. Spare yourself the trauma and book somewhere else.

This is an older hotel that has been renovated. Unfortunately, a lot of the changes are only skin deep. First, there is no elevator. Next, there is a gap around the AC that was taped with packing tape which was falling off. The maintenance guy went to get more tape, but never returned. The ceiling had dust bunnies, and the sink wouldn’t drain. It was mostly clean, but everything was dark and worn. The breakfast was good, but the floor was sticky. The best parts about this hotel are the views from the breakfast area and the reasonable price. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend until they do a more extensive remodel.

Check in at night is weird.

I didnt like check in at all. Nobody works the desk at night and you have to check in with a kiosk. It was wierd and did not feel very hospitable. The rooms were nice with a nice view but the bathtubs where pretty dirty. Breakfast was good.

Where do I start ? The building was really old and hotel was outdated. Everywhere you looked it was id disrepair, the beds were not comfortable. We rented 2 rooms and the AC would not cool off the room but maybe because there was a board between the window and AC and when you moved the board you could see daylight. The breakfast was a joke, no meat and not sanitary. If I were you I would stay away from this hotel/motel. We will not return and we travel 6 to 7 time out of the year and I have been in some bad hotels but this one takes the cake.

Virtual check in is a horrible idea. Woman barely spoke understandable English. I had to ask her to repeat herself multiple times. Horrible place, do not stay here.
One of the many holes in a wall I found. That hole is big enough for a raccoon.
Bathtub water that never drained after taking a shower, probably 4” deep.
Gas cans stored in lobby is a fire code violation.
