Some of the ladies who work at reception are very rude, men are the way nicer. The hotel is outdated , but still ok. Pick a higher category rooms and not on the 3 floor.

It’s a nice but outdated hotel. Ladies who work at reception are mostly rude , men are nicer. It’s a good place comparing to the majority of the hotels in the same price segment. It’s safe, men who work there are so friendly and helpful. It need renovation, rooms are well-used

Perfect location, fantastic staff! Lovely little touches like a shaving mirror in the bathroom, cold purified water stations on each floor including reusable bottles, an espresso machine that makes really really good coffee, and a guest laundry! The thing I love about boutique hotels is that they are very personable and bend over backwards to make sure you have a great stay! The Jewel is a gem!

This was my second time staying at the Jewel. It is a great option in the Rockefeller Center area. Short walk to Times Square. Tons of shopping and eating options. I plan to return. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
