Very clean and very comfortable hotel. We stayed in Room 1, which was extremely spacious and is actually a suite of rooms. Loved that the small kitchen area had everything we needed, including all of the amenities for pour-over or French press coffee. The bathroom and shower facilities were lovely and in keeping with a luxury boutique. This is a wonderful location for exploring Mt. Shasta and Lake Siskiyou.

This is a very unique and wonderful place to stay. I enjoyed showing up and not having to wait to check in. We arrived later than our check-in and walked straight to our room. The room was very nice. Felt upscale, vintage and comfortable without losing all the history and charm of the building. We will definitely stay here again when in the area.

The Hotel and our room was high end classy but yet very comfortable and homey at the same time. The bathrooms were amazing!! They had all the amenities of home down to having Q-tips in the bathroom. The heated bathroom floors were so nice when getting out of the shower. Rachel was a wonderful host and was more than helpful when letting us know of places to eat and places to sight see. Her store in the lobby was very nice and quaint with all local vendors products. If we are ever in the Shasta area again we will be staying here!

You will be amazed. Beautiful restored building in sleepy town or Dunsmir right next to the fabulous camping fly fishing store and down the road from Mt Shasta. (Only things I might change- the dish (Blue dawn) and hand soap and towels - more icky soap!-in the was fake and didn't smell at all good and weren't in keeping with the beautiful ambiance. The new windows on the facade were fake aluminum and didn't go with the restored building.)

Spacious, clean, beautifully decorated with a fun flair, great little kitchenette w/a midsize fridge Room #7 is the only room downstairs & had thoughtful touches like pour over coffee with locally roasted coffee, multi purpose charger on both nightstands, makeup mirror, Q-tips & nice lotion in bathroom, white noise machine, comfortable bedding, complimentary oatmeal, cool shower head & soft, fresh towels. Would definitely stay here again. The attached patio is a missed opportunity, needs to be freshened up a bit & would make this place a 10 instead of a 9. Also, a recycle bin w/b nice. We had burgers at Yaks on the 5 but there also a couple of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.
