We recently stayed at the City Edge as our daughter was having surgery at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, we found it so great being so close to the hospital, very clean little room, good size fridge for a small room and great to have the cooking facilities also. They have discounts if you are going to hospital, also the parking is a bit cheaper too.

If you want a budget hotel that is clean quiet and close to Queen Victoria market, then this will suit you. Don’t expect a 5 star hotel as this is not it. For the money we paid this suited us so well. They texted me to ensure I knew how to check in and check in and out was seamless. The lady on the service desk was so lovely and helpful. Her customer service was amazing. We will stay again when we want to have a good night out in the city and want to stay rather than travel home late at night. Transport is right out the front!
