Kind of expected

As soon as I walked into my room I noticed a stale unpleasant odor...I think I was coming from the air conditioner....probably could use a filter cleaning....the property could use some remodeling...at least the bedding was clean and actually quite comfortable....for the price I didn't expect great quality, but was hoping for a slightly better experience....the breakfast wasn't opened on time...the mini fridge at breakfast wasn't even on (and I don't think they even realized) so the only drink option was luke warm cranberry juice.

That hotel smells bad, the bathrooms don't work, it doesn't have good lighting, they don't clean it well, it was a very bad experience.

So…I’m not typically a guy that’s gonna leave a bad review. However people need to be warned about this property. Firstly, the rooms are in very poor condition, don’t trust the pictures, peeling paint, unfinished Sheetrock mud from patched holes, the constant smell of pot smoke, the lack of anyone coming to clean our room the entire stay. Second, the continental breakfast was non existent, you’d go into the room to empty bins and no staff working to make anything, stale cereal was literally the only option. Third, the television is the size of a postage stamp with very few channels and most of them were all full of static. Lastly my son left a ziploc bag with $22 in it by the fridge, I called less than 10 minutes after we left and they claimed it wasn’t there. So there’s that as well. Even if they didn’t steal the place was an overpriced sh*thole. Run the other way.

A misleading stay and a negative experience

Although advertised as such, there was basically NO breakfast. This was VERY disappointing, because it was a huge part of my booking this hotel. There was coffee. There was a couple bagles and a few pieces of toast. Not even a fruit bowl. I didn't understand that at all. Very sad and misleading. There were fruit flies all over my room the entire 3 night stay. There was hair on my bed :( I understand things get overlooked, especially that, but it still added to my negative experience. The "view" was the ugly rooftop w the a.c. units, etc. The pictures online show a beautiful gazebo with green grass and flowers. There was no gazebo. I don't know how long ago those pictures were taken, but it wasn't accurate to now. When I pulled up, I had to double check my maps because I thought it was a run-down construction building, not a hotel. There is no bar, although there is a sports bar room there, so that was a bummer, but I guess that is what it is. The hallways reek of cigarette smoke- not that someone was smoking in the hall at that time, but most likely in their rooms. A woman came in at one point, wanting to rent a room for one hour- so make your assumtions- but it doesn't seem like the "best" part of town. While I was waiting in the lobby, the hotel associates were just cussing up a storm, and it was very unprofessional and not appreciated. *The staff were kind, however, so that was the good part. I would NEVER RECOMMEND this hotel and hated it overall.

The hotel seems more like a family residence if I’m honest. It was gross and dirty and despite needing to stay for a night because it was late…there was dogs barking in the hallway at 7am. That’s weird. Everything seemed broken and unkept. It clearly seems like a section 8 stay unfortunately. I will not be returning. I did not go back for my second night despite not getting a refund because I paid in advance.

My stay was quite acceptable. The so-called breakfast was not good the d t cereal looked like soup and the o were hard. There was sliced bread bagels and dry cereal but you had to know where to look to find the butter and the milk to go with them. I have to agree with several of the reviews which discussed the need for the facility to be improved. Some of the walls are definitely in need of repainting there was no stopper for my bathtub. There was a sleep sofa in the room but there was no light by this chair for someone to sit there and read or do other activity. The refrigerator door did not shut securely and I found that ice was melting on the things I had in the refrigerator. There were no pictures on the wall although there were many screws or something that appeared to be designed to hold pictures on the wall. Overall for the price, and convenience to where I was visiting, this was a nice place to stay. I would stay here again.i

The staff were friendly but there were people hanging in the halls, loud music. Environment felt unsafe. Then my keycard would not work. Maintenance had to come and pop the lock and open with a master key. I did not even stay the night. I felt unsafe so I checked out
