When we asked to change our room because it was too close to the elevator, we were graciously accommodated. Staff was efficient and friendly. Good to have restaurant options on the premises as well as the indoor pool and the spa. I enjoyed a massage and then relaxing around the pool. Didn't use the exercise equipment, but good to know it was there. Appreciated the box of goodies left in our room on New Year's Eve. And the property wasn't far from where we live. A great way to end the New Year.

MARISOL

This was supposed to be a memorable experience in a good way. Unfortunately it wasn’t. The customer service was horrible. The spa is subcontracted so you can’t get an appointment unless you book 2 months in advance. The pool is not heated as advertised. The room was nice but nothing fancy. I spent over $2000 for an experience that I could’ve paid much less. I had a better time at a different resort in the same area. Camelback next time.

This hotel is terribly smoky. The amount of pollution made us feel ill. There is only one place (Bistecca) to get away from the smoke (the small non smoking area is polluted. Pia's looked like it was closed to smoke but we heard it is permanently closed. All other restaurants and bars are wide open to casino so they are also smoked filled. We couldn't eat anywhere but Bistecca. The first floor is very breathable but there isn't very much down there. The pool bar is not a place that is fun to hang out and the pool is cold. No hot tub so that wasn't great for us either. We looked for other places to go. Down the road is Swiftwater which was great, smelled wonderful and had several eating options so we could get away from the very polluted air inside Mt. Airy (ironically named lol!)
