DONT DO IT!
Everything was bad. I read the reviews and hoped things had gotten better. They did not.
1. The heat is turned off at night. Why?
2. The sofas in the rooms are held up by 2x4s. There was a Kitchenette but nothing to cook with/utensils, plates etc
3. We had a hard time getting food. No one delivers to the hotel. The cafe didn’t have anything in it. The restaurant was understaffed. I told them I could take it to go and went back to my room to wait. 2 hours later they still didn’t have my food. They ahured me that it was done but there was nothing. I waited there another half hour and they came out with my food. Most of it was missing and no utensils. They gave me ribs on the house but it was actually another guests food. I had been there when he ordered it.
3. Elevator didn’t work. I’m handicapped and struggled to get up and down the stairs. We also had to use the service stairway that was very creepy. They had cleaning supplies behind the doors that made it unsafe to get in and out.
4. The property was smelly and was located on backroads that did not have street lights.
4. The pool was cold. The waterpark was weak. Most of it was not working or had cold water.
I’m sure I missed many things. Overall it was a disastrous trip. We heard so many people there saying they would never return.
If you want a cheap hotel then this is your spot. But if you want a nice trip for your family, this is not it. I wish I could get my money back. DONT STAY HERE!!
