Smokers were out front which made me wonder about the facility. We only needed to crash for one night and hit road. Front desk was really good and explained security as the facility backs up to forest and homeless people were present. Overall, decent place to crash.

I have stayed here many times traveling regularly between Texas and Indiana. It is an older motel, but very clean and we'll kept. The staff is always welcoming and helpful. My only compliant is the vagrants that hang out in the parking lot at the back of the motel at night. The staff does what they can but to prevent it, but it's out of control. I blame Joplin PD for not being more proactive.

Rude staff. Charged me extra once I got there and kept the deposit for no reason. We didn't smoke inside. The dogs didn't make a mess and the room wasn't trashed. We even picked up most of the trash and stripped the sheets off the bed for housekeeping. And we let a small tip for them.
