We’ve stayed at a lot of cabins and this one was a let down. Given the great reviews and the beautiful, bright pictures, I had expected a light, airy, bright cabin with lots of love and customization. Instead, we took a very rough road to get to the cabin, the cabin was dark and a very awkward layout. The small living room was squished between the kitchen and the bedroom and received very little light.
The kitchen was nicely set up, but the fan and the curtains that covered the French doors were disgusting and the cookware available was minimal and some was even put away dirty.
The bedroom was nicely done, but awkward. The steps leading to the jacuzzi were inches from the foot of the bed. The bathroom was small with a huge walk in shower that we really enjoyed, but it didn’t dry out between uses (nor between guests). We didn’t use the tub because the hot tub was so wonderful and perfectly chemically balanced.
We stayed for five nights, and were left two towels each and one set of bedding with no extra blankets. The towels stunk and I even bought detergent so that I could wash them, only to discover that they had only been washed on a 15 minute cycle previously. Since the towels and the dryer were still warm upon our arrival, it was easy to summize that the last load washed was indeed the towels.
