my only concern was that last time we stayed here there was no required deposit only if you had a pet . now they say theres a $100 deposit and $15 parking The manager was nice enough to get it worked out though .

We love Aku Tiki. We have stayed here several times. The hotel is always clean and the grounds are nice. They have a beautiful big pool and a DJ on Saturdays and the employees are always kind and helpful. Sajid went above and beyond to be kind, welcoming and friendly. He is a blessing and a valuable employee. We hope he is appreciated for his great work.

The hotel and rooms were clean. The pool was big and nice. I liked that there was a bar in the hotel, and it was accessible by the pool area. I would have given 5 stars, but I saw 2 roaches in the bathroom. Also, don't have a Touchtunes jukebox in the restaurant/bar if you play the music so low that people can't hear the song they paid for. I was disappointed that there was no hot tub. There looks like there's a hot tub in the photos, but it's a kiddie pool. The pool is nice though. It's a decent hotel for the cheap price. I'd probably stay there again.

This would’ve been a 4-5 star review if there wasn’t a roach crawling out of the crack in the wall. Also to point out if you leave anything of value in this hotel don’t expect them to call you and let you know. They’ll keep it for themselves in the lost and found. Luckily I called the day after I checked to find out my missing item was still there and house keeping/management didn’t even care to contact me and lmk. If I didn’t have a relative that lived near by I would’ve near gotten my belonging.

This was the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. It smelled fresh. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food and drinks were great. I will definitely come back.

Dated but clean facility. Cleanliness is most important to me. The bar drinks we got wasn’t the best but they weren’t the worst. Staff was very friendly. Something to note is almost all rooms have an ocean view. I paid extra to have ocean view and was put on the first floor in front of the pool. In the end I wasn’t mad about it since it was convenient pool access. Would stay again.

The rooms are huge and having a kitchen in our room made our 3 week stay much more affordable. And walking out the sliding glass door right to the pool was awesome! Most of the staff were very friendly and the DJ on Saturdays at the pool was an added bonus. Will definitely be back!
