"It is ok if you like staying at a hotel at a casin"
When we arrived at the room it smelt musty like the carpets had been wet and then the remote didn't work so we had to get that sorted out. Other than that it was ok.

Mantra on the Esplanade - Darwin Hotels

Mantra on the Esplanade

88 The Esplanade, Darwin - Map
"A home away from home!"
I always try and stay at the Mantra on the Esplanade when in Darwin for work. In fact, I've been doing this for at least 12 years now. Check in was quite straight forward and quick. Car parking at $15 per night is a little steep I feel. Room comfort was OK but I had difficulty finding a comfortable pillow despite changing them over from the ones in the wardrobe. I had an issue on the last day getting into my room which was annoying. I had the card recoded but it still wouldn't let me in. On the third attempt I asked for someone to come up with me so they could open it for me as I couldn't keep wasting time. They obliged from the front desk and the door opened first time for them. Overall I was pleased enough with my stay and will check out room rates again for my next work trip.
