"Better than expected"
Reception was helpful with an early check in and the room was very stylish and clean, the bed so comfortable! We took advantage of the Gym and Pool during our 4 night stay. The foyer staff were very friendly and helpful. I thought it may be noisy as it's so central but not at all, we will be coming back again.

"Very spacious, clean, modern, convenient"
Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 older children) stayed at the Argus for 3 nights. We had a very spacious 3-bed room apartment (no 4 on the ground floor). We were a little disappointed that we did not have a view of Darwin Harbour but the ground floor proved convenient with no waiting for a lift. Also the size of the apartment was massive & had a huge outdoor courtyard. The staff were friendly and helpful. Reception is manned 24hours. They offered maps, directions, restaurant suggestions and a friendly “hello”. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were roomy with good powerful showers. There were three toilets in the apartment. Kitchen was well equipped & clean and when we had an issue with insinkerotor it was addressed very quickly. Also used our well equipped laundry. The Argus is well located to waterfront and city centre. We were able to walk to Woolworths & restaurants. I liked how it was walking distance to these but when the city was rowdy on Friday & Saturday night it was not too close to the noisy & not so pleasant action. Although, we were there for Territory Day and firecrackers are let off everywhere, so this was noisy but I think this would have occurred anywhere you stayed. On our day of departure we had a 1.40am flight out of Darwin and we were able to store our luggage and use the guest bathroom/lounge to freshen up before our flight. This was fantastic as it saved us a night’s accommodation.

"Very nice modern hotel within Darwin CBD"
We initially stayed two nights at H Hotel then went on a safari for 3 nights returning for two further nights. Our excess luggage pieces, including golf clubs, were tagged and secured in a dedicated luggage room between lodgings. Desk staff were always readily available and handled our check in and check out courteously and efficiently on both occasions.

"Great beach position"
A beautiful area with easy access to beaches, market, eating places. Two bedroom apartment was light and airy, well equipped and very clean except for the shower, which has older tiles looking a bit grotty. Lovely swimming pool and plenty of off street parking. Would happily stay here again.
