Unclean , in need of a renovation. Even the towels were old , sheets stained, pillows had a real bad sweaty smell. Had to go buy our own pillows.

Paid a premium price for accommodation over the V8 Supercars weekend. On arrival was told there would be an additional charges for breakfast and Executive lounge access even though this was already on our booking, (sorted out eventually). Room had a musty smell and looked tired, in need of a refurbishment. After mentioning numerous times to reception the smell was eventually sorted. Breakfast was nice however a small area and overcrowded, not ideal for distancing. Hotel is convenient to everything, but we did expect a bit more given the expensive prices and that we are Hilton members.

Our Restaurant is set up for a normal busy operation but on a peak weekend where all guests are trying to have breakfast at the same time, it can get crowded. We were considering opening up the conference area for breakfast. However, guests usually don't like to have breakfast away from our award-winning PepperBerry Restaurant which is the reason we did not implement that option. This place is showing serious signs of being outdated and lack of maintenance. Staff were very friendly and helpful. How this property can be the only 5 star rated is beyond me. Surely this is not the best hotel Darwin has to offer?

Full money charged by Hilton when they said they wouldn't charge for the stay as I cancelled before check in due to sudden lock down in Darwin. They even gave it to me in writing from the front office manager. Where is my money?

The lobby area was fresh, cool and really well set up. The fragrance upon walking in was AMAZING!!!!! I miss it- it was like walking into a Marc Jacobs heaven. The pool area was well set out and a perfect place to relax.
