The hotel room was lovely and very clean. We had a great view of Lake Michigan and the Centennial Ferris wheel. My only complaint is that I should have asked for more pillows. The pillows are not firm and very soft, but they went flat all night. As a side sleeper, I needed about three of them. I liked the Daviness shampoo and conditioner, and the shower was nice. A clean bathroom is essential to me. We were a short walk from tons of stuff to do, and we walked to the Chicago Institute of Art easily. Safe area, friendly staff.

It’s 1:30am, my family couldn’t sleep with this I don’t know it’s looks like train or something noise every 30 seconds but we stay at 31 floor, whole night noise, beds are small, room are small and old, we booked as W brand hotel look we are wrong, here is wade hotel, btw the lake view is nice

When I arrived around 4:30 PM, the lobby was packed and there were two long lines. Once I finally reached the front desk, I was told I had to wait for a phone call to let me know when my room would be ready, even though I booked weeks in advance and check-out was at 12 PM. No room had even been assigned to me by that time. I was told the hotel was overbooked the night before and again that day. I didn’t understand how that explained the delay, considering check-out is at 12 PM and check-in starts at 4 PM. It was now 4:45. I noticed others waiting as well. I ended up waiting an hour myself. As a frequent traveler, I’ve never experienced anything like this. When I finally got to my room, I realized only cable TV was available. It’s 2025. No smart TV, no streaming options. On top of that, there’s no free WiFi unless you’re a Bonvoy member. Otherwise, it’s $9.99 a day, which is just wild. The bathroom also wasn’t cleaned properly. There was hair in the tub and little black specks. I had to clean it myself. Then on Saturday around 10 AM, this loud rattling sound started coming from the bathroom. I called the front desk, and they said someone would come, but after the noise randomly stopped, I called again and was told it was coming from another room with maintenance issues and I’d probably keep hearing it. And I did. It came back twice later that day and twice again the next morning. It was startling and frustrating every time. No accommodations were made.

Room was nice but i didn't like the couch pressed up against the window. It forces you to get on your knees on the couch to look out the window at Lake Michigan. Also the phone did not work nor did the electrical sockets at the desk next to the phone

It was good overall! The breakfast was disappointing. Got it to-go and lots of things were missing/wrong food order. Communication just wasn’t great with kitchen staff. Everything else was great though!

This place was just average. Nothing luxurious, maybe the lobby, but our room, unfortunately, had old furniture with a bunch of wear and tear, water damage, etc. The staff did come in and clean when we requested it because our room was dusty upon arrival, and the fridge was not working.

The hotel is nice, but there’s no regular parking—you have to find somewhere else to park. The room was beautiful with an amazing view, but the air conditioning didn’t work, and the windows were very stained and dirty. Other than that, everything was fine.

It was the worst service ever.

The check-in process completely ruined my trip to Chicago. They strictly refused any early check-ins, leaving all guests crowded in the lobby. I ended up waiting for over an hour before I could check in. When I first tried to check in around 2:40 PM, a receptionist told me to wait in the lobby and said they would text me as soon as my room was ready. He even took down my phone number. Unfortunately, it was raining outside, and the wind blew straight into the lobby through the doors, making it cold and uncomfortable. After a long wait, during which I started to feel faint, I returned to the front desk to ask about my room again. This time, a different staff member handed me a room key right away—no explanation, no text, even though the room had apparently been ready. It was clear they wanted guests to stand around and wait until the official 4 PM check-in time, regardless of the weather or conditions. When I finally got into my room, my body felt like it was melting from the sudden temperature change. The exhaustion hit me hard, and I ended up catching a cold after the trip—all thanks to this terrible experience.
