This hotel is in a convenient location for those interested in downtown Chicago and Michigan Avenue. The staff were friendly and professional. The only downside was that it was a bit noisy, but this more a fact of Michigan Ave activity than the hotel itself.

This hotel is luxury in price only. I know that I’m in a downtown location but even on the 23rd floor it was extremely noisy. The elevators were exceptionally slow and amenities sparse. The building is beautiful and the location is great. Aside from that the experience at the Pendry was vastly overpriced and overrated.

The hotel is very modern and beautiful. Our experience with the staff was generally excellent, except for one attendant who was quite slow to solve a problem. The other staff members were very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. The facilities are extremely clean, and the spaces are modern and new. However, we did encounter an issue with the elevators, as they sometimes got stuck, and out of the three elevators designated for the rooms, only one was functioning. Additionally, there is a very nice terrace and a restaurant where we had breakfast, which was quite good.

The Pendry is a beautiful hotel, but I did have a few issues. I was on the 22nd floor and the whole floor was hot. The room would be set to 64 degrees, but stayed at 68, but also was never 68 degrees. It was more like 78 degrees in the room itself. The rooftop bar/restaurant was nice, but reservations MUST be made to get into the place on a Friday or Saturday. The first night we got there, they were closed for a private party and Saturday night, we couldn’t get in at all when I feel as guest should have access to the place. Just make sure you book a reservation weeks/days before you even get into town.

Very clean and nice hotel. Within the loop of Chicago so within walking distance of many restaurants and shops (a couple blocks from millennium park as well). Gym was newly renovated.
