Misleading fees of $40 per day get added and a portion ($10/day) that they market as a “credit” towards the restaurant. Elevators were constantly full/stopping at every floor. Room was ok, but would pay a bit more for another hotel next time.

It was a cute hotel with comfortable beds and clean sheets. The hotel offered several benefits as a guest- complimentary coffee/tea in the morning, a credit to use at the bar, etc. It was in walking distance of plenty good restaurants and right next door to Broadway!

The hotel was clean and nice. The staff were very friendly. I would definitely stay here again. I did bring my dog and I would not recommend bringing a pet to this location. There are no convenient potty spots for a dog. I think that has to do with this hotels particular location but I would not bring my dog here again. It was quite a hike to find green space. It got to the point where my dog was potting on the sidewalk which is not great in my opinion. Other than the pet options, the hotel for us humans were great. It was close to a lot of locations we wanted to go to.

Clean, beautiful hotel with great customer service. The hotel was walking distance from tourist attractions. The only complaints I have would be that our TV did not work due to connection issues, there was a daily destination fee, and you only receive one free water bottle per room.

We loved staying at the Allegro Royal Sonesta! The property was beautiful, with a great charm in their art deco style and artfully restored hotel. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful whenever we needed them. Everything was always clean, and we enjoyed being able to get tea, scones, and coffee whenever we needed. We will definitely stay again next time we're back in Chicago, and we are already looking forward to it thanks to the wonderful experience we had at the property.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. They were super welcoming when we arrived. They allowed us to check in early, as our flight had gotten in early and we wanted to explore the city. We had also told them ahead of time it was our anniversary and they left us a bottle of wine, a charcuterie board, and a handwritten note welcoming us and congratulating us on our anniversary. The room was very clean, and was cleaned throughout our four day stay. We had no issues with any noise, and the hotel common areas were also kept super clean. Overall, would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the Chicago area. It is super walkable to pretty much everything in the city, and the red line is Just a few steps from the entrance.

I wish the dining room had been open on the weekend for breakfast. Other than that, the service was attentive and friendly, the room was fine and the lobby was perfect for gathering with friends. A little expensive, but I know that goes with location. Thank you for a fine stay.
