This hotel was a great location and reasonably priced. That said, the thermostat is a dummy thermostat and doesn’t control the temperature in the room. The shower head seemed to leak /drip large amounts of water randomly throughout the night which was very loud.

Perfect location if you're traveling via Amtrak! We had an evening departure and even after checking out we were able to leave our bags with the desk during our last day so we could explore the city. We were also able to hang out in the lobby bar for a few hours to decompress, charge our phones, and have some refreshments for a few hours before our 9pm train. They were also able to check us in at 11am when we arrived, which was such a relief. The hotel was close to public transit and very centrally located for visiting Chicago. You can hear the trains at night but I found the sound to be very soothing. Beautiful rooms, a few issues with the electrical and plumbing but nothing major and the staff were very helpful.
