The Holiday Inn next door is having a staff/management union dispute. The staff is on the street w a drum and megaphone. It was deafening in our 4th floor river view room. The staff moved us, refunded the difference and then sent us comped snacks. Great hotel. Restaurant is fantastic, Perilla.

Good location in a loud city. Rooms are more spacious than most, with plenty of space for everyone to have their carryons out. Room was clean with scuffs here and there, dirty vent, and a single sink with a clean shower curtain. A great value considering we were hardly in our room. Do the happy hour at the associated restaurant. Staff was excellent

A new find!

We come to Chicago often, and are always looking for nice places to stay. This was our first time at L7. We were well treated, got a large room on a high floor with a river view, as we requested. Good coffee maker and fridge in our room. Room was spacious with excellent view of the river walk. Our only complaint was that one of our 2 windows was very dirty so we couldn’t see out as well as we wanted.Got an amenity for my birthday, which we appreciated. We really liked this place and plan to come back.

The room was clean with good view. Love the big seat bench. Great location and close to the magnificent mile. Very walkable. Staff was responsive when i mentioned that lamp knob had fallen off. It was fixed quickly.

The hotel staff was friendly and efficient. The room and property was very clean, warm, and inviting. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again. Also, the room was very quiet. I dont think we heard any noise (outside of some sirens in the city).

The staff was amazing and we felt welcomed every second. The Doormen were PHENOMENAL!!! Even my teenager commented on how hospitable they were and that we’ve never had an experience like that in another hotel
