Upon check-in the staff and concierge were welcoming and quickly helped get our bags checked so we could explore while waiting for our room to be ready. Once checked in we arrived in our room on the 4th floor. It faced the parking garage, which I did not think was a big deal since I did not book a room with a view. The bathroom was a little dirty as the counter looked like it had not been wiped down and there was a film. The beds were comfy and we were able to adjust the temp, which I appreciate. We were given free happy hour drinks for everyone over 21 and informed about the free breakfast in the morning. The only complaint I have was really out of the hotel's control, there are garbage trucks that show up in the alley just below the room around 6am and empty every dumpster in the alley. It was very loud during that time, but otherwise was a great place to stay! If you arrive and have a room facing the garage, you may want to request something on a different side of the building. Breakfast was good, they offered a buffet along with made to order omlettes. There was a great selection of pastries, cereals and juices too. The location was perfect as we were within walking distance to all of our favorite attractions! The United Center was a quick Uber ride away.
