Great location and beautiful property, but disappointing service
LondonHouse Chicago is in a fantastic location and the property itself is beautiful. Unfortunately, the service didn’t match the quality of the hotel.
During our 4-day stay, we never received fresh washcloths despite requesting them, and used room-service items (trash, silverware, etc.) were left in our room for two days before anyone cleared them. Even more concerning, a room-service tray sat on the hallway floor outside a neighboring room for two full days — not what you’d expect at this level.
Service in the lobby bar was also very slow and inattentive, although we did have a good experience at the rooftop bar, which was decorated very festively!
Overall, a nice property in a great location, but the lack of attention to basic service needs made the stay less enjoyable than expected.
