Had a very comfortable stay here. The room was clean and comfortable. I was there on a Saturday night in mid-January and the hotel was very calm and quiet. The parking garage has direct access to the hotel and the rates $25 per night are reasonable for Chicago) I really liked the breakfast buffet. It had oatmeal, cereal, toast, bagels, croissants, scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes, boiled eggs, fresh spinach, fresh fruit, coffee and fruit juices. The best part were the toppings and condiments which were suitable for people from a wide range of dietary (vegan, vegetarian) and culinary traditions (Asian and Latin American sauces, nutella, peanut butter, cinnamon, dried pumpkin seeds, and more). The view outside is nothing exciting. But for somebody who wants convenient access to the Hyde Park area (which does not have a lot of hotels), this is a great place to stay.
