Management staff was excellent but the maids service was disappointing. On entering the room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast offerings were very good , although too much pork and not enough alternative meat was served, overall it was a good stay.

A diamond in the rough!

The hotel was exceptionally clean. The service was A-1. The breakfast bar was very good. Our television was in an awkward spot making it hard for us to watch from bed. On the weekend evenings, the garage filled up quite fast so the parking wasn’t the easiest. All in all, a very nice place to stay.

I stayed at Springhill Suites: Chinatown while recently in Chicago to visit my girlfriend for a week that was extremely important to both of us. I’d only been to Chicago once, late at night, almost 20 years ago, so I booked this hotel based on location and price: not knowing what to really expect. The room was PERFECT in terms of space and location. It had the feel of staying downtown without the premium price and because both of us wanted to be in Chinatown specifically (my GF loves Chinatown), it was ideal. The staff was excellent and very clear about parking and always willing to help. We did not have to ask for room service/cleaning/fresh linens except once and that was because we went through a set of linens every day. Breakfast (which was included in my stay) was a pleasant surprise as they offer a lot more of a variety than most hotels at this price point and the parking was safe and secure, albeit expensive ($30 a day) which is not reflective on the hotel since that’s sort of the standard for parking downtown Chicago. Overall we had a GREAT experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel not only for the convenience of being next to the highway but also because the staff and room itself were outstanding. Will definitely book with them again.

We absolutely loved our stay here, it was amazing and so clean. The only thing I will say was parking as a hassle for sure we ended up parking at a lot a block or two away which would’ve been perfect if it was not so cold so a heads up about that but 10/10 stay at the hotel itself!
