Property is dated but overall the place is nice. The entrance is weird, makes you feel like you are coming through the back. The registration desk is not labeled and easy to miss since half the time you walk by it no one is there. First room i had wasn't clean and the heater was making a horrible noise. Once moved up a floor the room was much cleaner and there heater was quiet. Rooms have refrigerators, they could use a "shared" microwave in the lobby.

Service was wonderful. Location was perfect for access to downtown. Felicia was spot on throughout coordinating 2 rooms close to each other, early check-in availability and storing our luggage while we arrived early but wanted to spend some time exploring downtown. Easy walking access to many stores, restaurants and necessities. Excellent visit.

I've stayed here before and it was fine for the price. This time the service was really bad. I requested room cleaning several times but they didn't care to follow up and do it. The rooms are very old, not clean, and it seems that they do not fix anything. Not worth the price. Should be a one star motel.

This is a lovely old hotel in a perfect location to access the Magnificent Mile and lots of other great places. Minor issue with toilet clogged which was quicky resolved. Warm welcome and very nice staff.

Not worth the cost. It was comfortable for 2 nights but for the price, much better options available. The towels were all dirty, had to get new ones. The breakfast was subpar and the staff got annoyed when we asked for refills. The area was convenient, the room was a good enough size for 2 people, mattress was comfortable but the pillows were not. I would not stay here again for the price

The staff at the hotel was very nice. Especially Alison the hotel desk clerk who check us in. Very sweet, and personalble. Breakfast there is very good, also the are is great to get to Magnificient Mile, and Riverwalk.

BED BUGS FOUND IN OUR ROOM!!! STAY AWAY!!! We stayed here 3 nights and after 1st night both my husband and I got multiple bug bites on our bodies. We even found a live bug on our pillow. When talking to the receptionist, he could see the bite marks visible on my neck/face/arm, yet the only thing they could do was to move us to another room. No compensation whatsoever. They told me they need to “launch an investigation to figure out if the room indeed has bed bug” before they could give me any compensation. Really? We found a bug moving on our pillow and the guy coming in to check our complaint saw that bug on our pillow as well??!? Room is run down, very basic features. Not even a free bottle of water in our room. Overall a terrible experience AND WE PAID $600/3 nights. Price isn’t cheap but the quality is very sup par. DO NOT STAY HERE!
