The cost does not match what you get
Quite old and charming hotel, but so much were missing to really give that nice hotel feeling you want when paying so much per night.. better off booking something else for the same price. Shower had no pressure, we got misguided by the staff and cleaning was less than satisfactory.

The property was great. However, parking is not properly outlined by the staff or on the listing. There is parking available, at a parking garage across the street. The hotel says that you take care of it at the departure time. But what they mean is that you pay the $52 a day price to them at your departure. So parking is not available on site, it is available to be paid for. Really soured our vacation to be with that at the end.

Located perfectly on the Mag Mile with plenty to do, see and eat within walking distance. The property itself is dated however. Upon check in you have to sign a waiver (READ IT) that all I'm going to say. My room had a magnificent view of a wall with an inoperable phone and hard to reach without moving furniture bedside outlets. Yes, I asked for an alternate room and was denied. Bath towels were sparse and shed fuzz, my bed sheets had holes and the pillows were flat and none supportive. The staff was very helpful and friendly and there is a happy hour in the restaurant off the lobby. Not the worst place I've ever stayed but definitely not the best.

Overall, this is a very clean hotel with a very comfortable bed. However, I felt that they were banking a bit too much on location. They do not provide daily room service, which I think should be provided at the price they are charging. Moreover, small details, like a lack of outlets for charging phones, our fridge was unplugged, the amenities kit was minimal. Overall, it’s a comfortable and clean place to stay, but it felt like they were cutting corners in places that shouldn’t be cut at that price point. 7/10

Decent for a couple of days
Hotel was fine. To be honest no matter what name you slap on it an old building is still an old building. This was an old building going under the Best Western name so you pay for the company! Room was decently sized though the beds in Chicago just seem smaller. The bathroom could have used a refresh- the ceiling over the tub was peeling. Did have to ask for a second set of towels (twice) Area is pretty quiet you do have to walk a couple of blocks to hit the stores and more restaurants The restaurant attached to the hotel does do happy hour Mon-Fri so enjoyef a couple of drinks there.

The property was overpriced, no complimentary breakfast, no microwave, the shower was a hose instead of a shower head. The room was cramped, the AC unit was janky and the mattress was actually the best part about the room. I wouldn’t stay here again. I think you’re just paying for location. The staff was nice but the hotel itself was overrated.
