The hotel is beautiful but the front desk staff were inexperienced and seemed too young to be working at a polished luxury hotel. I was sent an email two weeks before my stay letting me know that I will be upgraded and will receive an additional amenity (not upon availability - it was an email confirming the upgrade). Once I got there at 9pm the gentleman at the front desk had no idea what I was talking about and said they had no availability for an upgrade. He said I could check with the staff working the next day because there will be more room options. I called the front desk the next morning and was met with a very uninterested front desk staff who said he would look into it and call me back. He never called me back and after I reached out to check in he said there was no availability and could ‘show me if I didn’t believe him’. All in all, the hotel is beautiful and the area is the best - I was looking forward to cashing in my VIP status and getting a beautiful room but unfortunately that wasn’t my experience.

The hotel ambience and service are excellent. The in hotel dining wasn’t great but it is still nice to have a place to grab a drink or a bite. The shower water kept going back and forth between hot and cold. Frustrating.
