Beautiful location on the river! Close to so many iconic downtown Chicago interests. Loved being able to walk everywhere from the hotel.

Not As Advertised!

The hotel was not directly on the Riverwalk. I travel a lot and have stayed at better hotels for the money paid. Refrigerators and microwaves are the least accommodations that should be made available in the rooms. The elevators weren’t working on a couple occasions, not any late night food options and amenities very much lacking. We didn’t find the bottled water UNDER THE SINK IN THE BATHROOM till late the second day. Why not out in the room? Having to request for a fridge was inconvenient. Having to walk through a fitness center to get to a pool was very much lack luster. The hotel advertise to be ON THE RIVERWALK but it’s actually near the Riverwalk. Customer service was awesome. The people made our stay worth people there. The extra $30.00 per day for the same stuff is a scam. Why would someone want to go to the same museums everyday of their stay? I could have gotten more for my money elsewhere. Never again!!

Perfect place to stay!

Beautiful hotel with easy walking distance to all of the must see spots in Chicago. Staff was friendly and we were even able to check in early - a bonus since we arrived in the AM.

I expected better

Self parking only tight fit in underground parking. They charge a destination fee, $15 of that covers food charged to room (even if you don’t charge any food you have to pay it). Some of it covers WiFi but if your a member of their subscription service that waves your Wi-Fi fee but you still have to pay this. No one told us to swipe key in elevator so some worked without others didn’t. In either situation not all of the elevator buttons lit up properly. The room was just ‘eh’ nothing special. The double beds felt smaller (or maybe I’m just bigger now). The refrigerator didn’t work. One community microwave by the elevators. Cups left for drinking were still wrapped but the protective wrap had a bunch of poked holes, what kids did this? Not trusting them. Counters and shelving looked a bit old and beat up missing paint. For the price and the name I expected more. Looks like their money all goes to the large welcoming lobby.

This is the only hotel I stay at when in Chicago! Super close to the mile, pier and bean plus restaurants. Best thing is the river view from our room. Highly recommend!
