I liked the central Chicago downtown location of this hotel. A very walkable location, proximity to tourist attractions, easy access to the L and other transportation options.

The location was great. The room had very basic amenities. There is no acoustic insulation, and this is something I had read from other comments. It was OK the first night, but the other night there were some unruly guests who were so loud and screaming in their room, which was across the corridor (a solid 50 feet away) and yet it felt like they were inside our room. I texted the concierge (they provide a number and you can write at anytime). They sent someone promptly, but I could not fall asleep as I got scared and woke up abruptly in the middle of the night. For over $200 at night, I would expect more. Room was not super clean and everything was outdated. Not even a microwave, nor a safe...

This property is walking distance from most location in downtown Chicago. It is reasonably clean but looks dated (carpet, walks etc.). The rooms are small but kind of expected in a big city. Most restaurants near by close at 8pm on Friday and many are not open the weekends. There is a pub right next to the hotel that is open late. Front desk service was really good. One bad experience was when I wanted to get some extra coffee pods, sugar and coffee cups. Went to get some from desk, but was told that room service would bring it up. Waited 30 minutes and after couple calls, couple of guys came with the stuff but no coffee mugs. Gave some story about the hotel being full and that is why they did not have any more coffee mugs. Were pretty rude about it as well. Not happy at all about that. Overall, I think you can find other places that are better for value.

The room was a good size. We had our dog with us and there was enough room for his pen and crate without the room feeling cramped. The shower, while on the smaller side, had the water pressure of dreams. Easy check in and departure. Location was great, super easy to walk to all main downtown attractions.

If you are looking for an amazing bed but nothing else this is the place. Very run down. Check in and out was via a kiosk as there was people waiting in the lobby when we arrived. No parking at the hotel, and just quite run down. The carpet had some stains and could use an overall face lift. Was ok distance from Michigan avenue and again man was the bed amazing! Just nothing else which was fine because we were barely there but I would never stay here again. The restaurant next door has great food and stays open til 2!

Great for overnight
Stayed for a concert at solder field. We arrived early and used the 24 hour parking garage rate from hotel. Easy walk to the river to have lunch. Check-in was easy. Our room was perfect for a quick overnight stay. Just bed, desk and shower/bathroom. No refrigerator. They have water bottles on each floor. Took subway to Roosevelt and then walked to concert. Easy!

Slow response from desk to housekeeping. Waited over an hour for extra towels even though I went to the front desk to ask initially. Room was fine and bed was nice, but interior was outdated. Bathroom floor was slick and hazardous after shower. Good location in the city and check out/in was easy.
