The location is great. The room was humid.,The staff didnt learn to smile. The complimentary water bottles were used, they were empty !!! Asked the front desk, they never sent what they say they will. The AC unit was an antiquity with no heating option antiquity"a smelled

The facilities were not in great condition. We had adjoining rooms but the door between rooms would not work. The remote for the tv would not work and even after asking, they never fixed it. The internet was very slow and spotty. And the neighbors had small children and a baby and they would be loud all day and night.

The hotel has a beautiful historic charm and an excellent location right across from Grant Park — perfect for sightseeing and walking to nearby attractions like the Art Institute and Michigan Avenue. The staff were friendly and helpful, and our room was comfortable and clean. It’s a great choice for anyone wanting a classic Chicago experience!

The in room hair dryer did not work. The front desk said that they would have one delivered to the room. An hour later we checked out without ever receiving one. My wife was not pleased that her hair was not dry. Also there was a mildew type smell in the hall that drifted into our room. The room next to our was undergoing repairs so it may have come from that room.
