We chose this hotel because of it's proximity to an event we were attending. I was a bit worried when we saw it was RIGHT ACROSS from a fire station and then we found ear plugs in the night stand! But we didn't have any issues with being woken up by sirens. (And actually if you go on the crime tour bus, you will learn that that fire station is actually the site of the last gallows located in Chicago taken down in 1977.) Anyway, we had a great trip. We appreciated how conveniently located the hotel was to so many walkable attractions. We would definitely stay here again.
