Hotel is very dated. Insufficient outlets considering the recharging needs of today's travelers. This could be fixed by adding several lamps with electrical outlet bases. Would not stay here again

Old property. Needs some repairs. The staff was very friendly. Location was perfect for our trip to Grand Father Mountain and surrounding area. Breakfast was back, scrambled eggs, sausage, gravy, biscuits and some typical breads and stuff. The rooms were quiet, bring your own pillows if you don’t like lumpy ones. I would stay again.

Hotel staff were as nice as they could be. Room felt safe and was comfortable. It was very convent and close to Boone - making it an affordable option when visiting App State. Breakfast was typical. Coffee in the lobby. Small but adequate fitness center. Close to restaurants and grocery store. Pool was big (not yet open when I visited). There is no elevator and steps were slippery in the rain. Room doors open to the outside. All in all, great value for the price.
