Neat comfortable motel 2 km from Banff Avenue

This is a nice tidy motel (not a resort) located 2 km from the centre of Banff on Tunnel Mountain Road. The rooms are comfy though slightly dated and the kitchenette is well-stocked should you want to eat in. Small children's playground and BBQ area. Indoor pool is quite nice and next to reception. Laundry is in the basement of one of the buildings, only available from 8 a.m each day, and not super-convenient. All in all, a good choice in Banff given the prices at most hotels, but definitely not a resort and somewhat away from all the action.

Overall a good stay! Pricey for the quality of the room, but given the time of year, that is to be expected in Banff. The hotel provided ROAM bus transportation for guests. This was helpful for those who didn’t want to walk 20 minutes to town.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, rooms were nice and clean. Location was perfect, outside of the downtown noise, but close enough to easily walk, or take the transit. Bus stop was right out front and a free pass for local transit routes was given to us upon check in. Our only complaint would be that the parking lot was a bit narrow. We have a truck and getting out in the morning was a bit tricky when the parking lot was full

unfortunately the room had cleanliness concerns. foreign substances splattered on the room of the upstairs bathroom, dirt and tree debris tracked throughout the condo (upon check in), and splatters / markings inside on the main roof of the condo. didn’t meet the baseline cleanliness i’d expect, especially given the premium rate we paid to stay here. the positives: the staff were pleasant upon check in, and the location was beautiful.

Great place with a few minor issues

Great place to stay with a large family. Reasonable price and well laid out and functional cabins. They were clean and well maintained with friendly staff. Parking was difficult with a larger vehicle, but doable. Wi-fi was slow at certain times. There were only 2 sets of washers and dryers (one of which was out of order). Overall a great stay with a few minor issues.
