Nice place to stay. Much more reasonably priced than other hotels in the area. The photos make the roof top hot tub area look nicer than it is. It’s not bad just kind of small for a very big hotel with a lot of guests. Otherwise lovely place to stay!

Great location, friendly stuff, quality coffee capsule. Love the espresso machine in the room and the rooftop hot tub (remember to bring a pair of sleepers, as it can be slippery around the tub in the winter).

January 2025 - Mount Royal Hotel

The Mount Royal Hotel is in the ideal central location in Banff making everywhere accessible including Ski runs as the shuttle pick up point is the car park to the hotel to the rear of the hotel. The bus stop to the Gondola and Hot Springs is located just across the Road. The rooms were very clean and the beds really comfortable. The staff at reception were always helpful and friendly.

Ideal location to transportation, dining, shopping and etc etc. The room is clean and well equipped with ear plugs and noise blocker to help those who particularly want total quietness while a sleep. We really enjoy this room with the view of the main road and cute shops.
