Its on the opposite side of the highway from Banff, so more secluded, surrounded by trees. Gorgeous views, an indoor fireplace and outdoor firepit in the restaurant area. Just a note, the hot tub is outdoors, in a little sheltered area. Very nice.

The room was not “recently renovated” as described on the website. We had a king room but only one side of the bed had an end table, lamp and outlet (very inconvenient) The bathroom was quite obviously run down, old original bathtub and aged, dirty tiles. We checked in late the first night and noticed that the carpet and tiles in the bathroom were dirty. There was also hair around the toilet seat and dust on the mirrors. We let the front desk know the next morning and were assured it would be cleaned by the time we returned. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Despite the bed being made and towels changed, nothing we mentioned was cleaned, not even a quick vacuum of the filthy floors. We will likely not return.
