This hotel has a great location and all of the staff were super friendly! Our room was spacious and comfortable. A few minor things (no fan in the bathroom laying to some mold spots, and the air conditioner is a little noisy) but overall, I would 100% choose to stay here again! GREAT location!

very average hotel

The hotel looks really nice in the picture. But its really average looking in person. Its extremely over priced. We paid $1100 for two nights. We don't mind paying that amount for 5 star standard hotel. However, our room was facing a wall, it's pretty small, no safety box and there were pubic hair in the bathroom.

We love staying here with our kids as the loft room options are perfect for a family. The indoor sauna is quite small, the restaurant is great. As well, the location is perfect as it’s the last hotel on the main road before the shops and restaurants start, so not a lot of extra walking just to get to central Banff ave.

Excellent location but need earplugs

Excellent location right on main Banff so quick access to downtown. For the price point (almost $700/night), you have some expectation of room build and soundproofing. You are provided with sets of ear plugs in anticipation of outside noise including rooms next door. It is like walls have no sound proofing, so that is disappointing given the price point.

Location is great, right in the main avenue, so easy to go out and see the town, stroll to the Bow Falls, etc. Shuttle access also very convenient. Obviously this is also reflected in the steep price. The rooms are pretty neat, with a loft for the bedroom, while the living room and bathroom are downstairs. However, this 2-storey setup may not be the most friendly for older guests or people who need the bathroom in the night; and obviously not for anyone who has accessibility issues. Otherwise, the rooms were clean and comfortable. Check-in staff were super friendly & efficient. Not really any encounters with any other staff.
