Our stay at Towneplace Suites by Marriot was not what I expected. Im giving a 2/10 because 1. breakfast was great! Food was good, coffee was good (the lady working there in the kitchen was very nice, spoke spanish and always asked if we needed anything else before she closed up).
2. Staff was friendly.
Now for the bad experience we had, when we walked into the hotel it was very old looking and old smelling. Our room was on the 2nd floor the carpeting throughout the halls was old and dirty, the elevator was scary. the doors in the the suites are old looking, the furniture was old looking, we didn't use the kitchen except for the refrigerator (which was okay). The Mattresses! okay the mattress on the pull out (couch) was stained and ripped! The mattress in the larger room was so uneven, my legs were elevated and the head part was way lower (helped with my leg circulation, I guess). The curtains were stained and dirty looking. One of the days we asked for towel service and when we returned from our destination we found 4 large towels on the table and all the dirty towels were still on the floor (they were not taken from our room). We had no washcloths, no more toilet paper AND no more body soap! Mind you we are a family of 6 who all needed to shower. I called the office and the night receptionist told me that they were out of hand towels and washcloths AND out of Body wash! Receptionist stated to come pick up Body wash and toilet paper.
