Overall, I had a good stay. The walls are thick enough that most noise is reduced, though some sounds can still be heard—it was never too loud or disruptive. One thing to note is that the TV is positioned to the side of the bed, so it's not ideal for watching from the bed, but it wasn’t a major issue. Overall, I was satisfied with my experience.

Good location!

I booked the intermediate room with a queen-size bed, but our room was too small and wasn't very clean. Luckily, the attendant at the front desk was very kind and efficient and changed our room for free. I had a service dog in my reservation, and I have the impression that the hotels always give me the worst room because of it. The second room was bigger, more comfortable, and cleaner, however, the AC wasn't working properly. The hotel is nice, the staff is friendly, and the location is amazing.

We appreciated that the hotel was a short walk to the BART and to the cable car. It was convenient to have the hotel hold our luggage after we checked out until we were ready to head to the airport. I also appreciated the lemon water in the lobby to fill our water bottles.

Great place to stay.

Enjoyed our stay quite well. I love the quaintness of the rooms. Tho the stall showers should have a grab bar to get in and out. Shower a little slippery after showering. I do like plain showers vs combo. Hard to step over side of tub to get in and out at my age. The vending machine for water , soda etc was out of order. There wasn't any place close by to buy a bottle of water. Also it would be nice if there was small coffee, tea and muffin area w water to buy esp in the morning.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, which I really appreciated. However, the hotel overall felt very outdated. The air conditioner barely worked, and the whole place had a strange smell—like a mix of an old retirement home and bug spray. The most frustrating part was trying to use the microwave. I had to wait for someone to escort me to a private room on the second floor, and the security guard sat there watching me the entire time. Very uncomfortable and inconvenient for such a simple task. The room looked like it had been somewhat updated, but still felt old. Not the best experience overall.

Very outdated and not clean. The shower curtain and furniture had stains. The toilet had a public toilet handle. The fridge was not working, the bed was old and you can feel all of the springs. I was very disappointed as the we payed extra for a “premium deluxe” room and the pictures are extremely inaccurate. Stay somewhere else.

Such a lovely property in a great location. The ac wasn’t running properly our first night but as soon as we let the front desk know, they sent someone up to fix it immediately. Vending machines would be a nice addition to the newer building in which we stayed. We will stay here again.
