We're already fans. We use the ALB airport Tru as a launch pad when we have early-morning flights. We appreciate the friendly staff, shuttle svc (even to restaurants, not just the airport), ability to inexpensively park our car there during trips, and more. Most issues we've encountered, such as noise from adjoining rooms, were not the hotel's fault, except that you'd think a brand new hotel would have better sound insulation between rooms. We did note that the room we had this last time seemed quite small but manageable for two.

Comfortable bed, great blackout shade-- I slept like a baby. The spare/sparse Ikea esthetic isn't for everyone, but it was fine. But-- understaffed, with undertrained and somewhat snippy staff. I called from the airport for 20 minutes (at 10pm) for a "24 hour airport shuttle"-- no answer at all. I'd say this is basically a management problem.
