We were early arrivals. Our room was not quite ready. We were given the option of an alternate room or to wait in the comfortable atrium. The owner/ general mgr. brought us our room key cards personally. The hotel was recently beautifully renovated, very clean with excellent amenities and friendly, efficient staff. We will definitely return on our next travel adventure.

Great place to stay in Abilene while traveling.

Room was very clean. The bathroom could use an update, it was clean. Nice and quiet. The breakfast was excellent. All of the staff was friendly and helpful.

Well-maintained older hotel with clean, quiet rooms. The staff is excellent and the big pool in the courtyard is nice. Free beer from 6pm-8pm is a plus!

The gentleman in charge of the breakfast did a really good job and their breakfast is quite good for a free hotel breakfast. Otherwise, yikes. The door from the outside had no flooring and my shoes stuck to the subfloor, the key card readers are very old, the hotel itself is very old and my major complaint was a horrible smell in my room. It was overwhelming. I could hear every word that people were saying outside my door, was not soundproof at all. But I was exhausted from traveling and stayed anyway. Smelled of damp mildew or something like that. Hotels in Abilene are pricey, trust me and just spend the extra money.

Great service and staff. We had to get a hotel for a few days unexpectedly and were welcomed with a caring staff and a clean room, which made our unexpected chaos more manageable. My car broke down, and the owner's son has a car repair shop that fixed me up as well.
