Geothermal Pools, Spas and Wellness in Taupō

Nothing beats a bit of relaxing me-time. So why not treat yourself to some well-deserved pampering, Taupō-style?

If you're looking for somewhere to relax, it doesn't get much more serene than Taupō. Set in the heart of North Island on the shores of New Zealand's largest lake, Lake Taupō, this town takes beautiful scenery to a whole new level. Nature provides well here, whether it's gorgeous waterfalls and mountains to hike among or warm geothermal pools to soak in. Prepare to bliss out.

There are plenty of ways to harness all that volcanic energy and boost your wellbeing. Heading to one of Taupō's spas for a traditional Māori massage using volcanic mud is one of our favourite relaxing activities, but that's just the start of it.
