Good location in terms of where it is in Taupo but the room I had looked right out to the neighbouring residential property and into their kitchen etc. No privacy unless the curtains were closed.

Laundry is well hidden and when I asked was told it costs $20 for washing machine and dryer . The unit next to the spa pool catches a lot of noise from children using the pool. Could hear the people clearly talking in the unit next to us. Easy check in and check out. Bed was firm and comfortable bedding. Pillows on the firm side. Walking distance to shops and restaurants

Reception was friendly and very efficient. Room was very clean and equipped with all that is needed without any wasteful packaging on products or supplies. The in-room spa tub is a great feature. Easy walk to town when the weather is good.

We were really happy with our stay at Lake Taupo Motor Inn. The location was perfect, easy walking distance to the lake and main shops. The room was spotless and comfortable.

The property itself was clean and tidy, staff were friendly. Room was serviced which was really nice to have clean towels and coffee tea etc topped up. Some of the other guests were loud but that can't be helped I guess.
